Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor patients' health status, recording vital signs, and reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents and patients at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure holistic care.
- Support the nursing team with procedures, medication administration (as delegated), and documentation.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA certification in the state of Kansas.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on empathy and compassion.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn electronic health record systems.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
