Responsibilities
- Provide direct and compassionate care to patients in accordance with established nursing protocols.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, accurately.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations following safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Document patient care activities and observations in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required (or active enrollment in a CNA program).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Physical stamina to perform duties such as lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
