Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in accordance with state and federal regulations and hospital protocols.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams and reviewing medical history.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by licensed physicians and providers.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities, symptoms, and outcomes in electronic health records (EHR).
- Monitor patient conditions for any changes and react swiftly to emergencies or adverse events.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment by strictly adhering to infection control and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a specialty area (e.g., Med-Surg, ICU, Telemetry).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments, technologies, and high-acuity patient populations.
- Willingness to travel for short-term assignments and relocate for the duration of the contract.
