Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record patient temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates accurately.
- Communication: Serve as a vital link between patients, families, and the nursing staff to ensure comprehensive care.
- HCAHPS Support: Promote a positive environment that enhances patient satisfaction scores.
- Hygiene & Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient room environment.
- Documentation: Update patient charts and care logs as directed by the charge nurse.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification: Current CNA certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We value attitude and aptitude over history.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Compassion: A genuine desire to help others and demonstrate empathy.
