Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff
- Assist with meal service and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Engage residents in social activities and promote emotional well-being
- Maintain accurate resident care documentation
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- Current NM State CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in senior care preferred
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate approach to elder care
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends
- Background check and TB clearance required
