Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately and timely.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families during their stay.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times.
- Document patient care activities and observations accurately in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff to report changes in a patient's condition or needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current enrollment in a CNA training program or completion of a state-approved CNA certification program.
- Must be willing to obtain or maintain current CNA licensure (we offer sponsorship for the right candidate).
- Basic computer literacy for electronic documentation entry.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
