Responsibilities
- Provide Essential Patient Care: Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming while ensuring their dignity and comfort.
- Monitor Health Status: Accurately measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, reporting any abnormalities to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with Medical Procedures: Support the nursing team with wound care, feeding, and assisting patients during procedures.
- Document Patient Information: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and care logs in compliance with facility protocols.
- Ensure Safety and Hygiene: Keep patient rooms and common areas clean, sanitized, and organized to prevent infections and ensure a safe environment.
- Communicate Patient Needs: Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications
- Valid Certification: Current State CNA license and certification required.
- CPR Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients for extended periods.
- Compassion: A strong desire to help others and a patient-centered approach.
- Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
