Key Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health status and report any changes to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately and timely.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by licensed nurses.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all patients.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality care.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Colorado.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Demonstrated compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
