Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to ensure comprehensive patient care plans.
- Document patient progress and medical information accurately in electronic health records.
- Respond promptly to patient requests and emergencies in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current, active CNA or LPN license in the state of California.
- CPR/BLS certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
