Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and safety protocols.
- Communicate changes in patient status to RNs and physicians promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
- Prepare and serve meals according to specific dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Document daily care activities and patient interactions in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current CNA Certification required (or eligibility to obtain state certification).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to stand/walk for long periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer literacy and typing skills.
- Pass a mandatory background check and drug screening.
