Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate care to patients, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques to ensure safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to report changes in patient condition.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Prepare patients for meals and assist with feeding as necessary.
- Document patient care activities and observations accurately in medical records.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CNA Certification (state license) is required; entry-level candidates with a passion to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient well-being.
