Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on medical needs.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic procedures in strict accordance with hospital protocols.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and clinical status, alerting physicians immediately to any changes.
- Document patient care activities, vital signs, and treatment plans accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to families during critical times.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patient care.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois (or compact state eligibility).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical facility setting.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
