As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. We value compassion, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic bedside care and assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Document patient care activities, mood, and behavior changes in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Florida CNA License required.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous healthcare experience is a plus but not required (we train motivated candidates).
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and stand for long periods.
- CPR Certification is highly desirable.
