Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitor vital signs to ensure patient safety.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Assist with patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures.
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide emotional support to families.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Kansas.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients as required.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new EHR systems.
