Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers to ensure maximum safety and comfort.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the nursing staff regarding patient status and concerns.
- Prepare and serve meals according to prescribed dietary restrictions and nutritional needs.
- Support the nursing team with basic medical procedures, wound care, and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Washington.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate demeanor.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Computer literacy and ability to document patient information accurately.
