Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent bedsores.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Document patient care activities and changes in patient conditions accurately.
- Communicate effectively with nurses and physicians regarding patient needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Current CNA certification (or willingness to obtain) in the state of Texas.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients (up to 50 lbs).
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Reliable transportation and a clean background check.
