Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, reporting any abnormalities to the nursing staff immediately.
- Mobility Support: Help patients move, transfer, or walk safely using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Hygiene & Nutrition: Serve meals and ensure patients are well-hydrated and have access to nutritional needs throughout the shift.
- Documentation: Accurately maintain patient records, log care activities, and communicate changes in patient condition to supervisors.
- Environment: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment to prevent infection and ensure comfort.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current and valid State CNA Certification required.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We welcome new graduates and certified individuals seeking their first role.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks related to patient handling.
