Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and using walkers or wheelchairs safely.
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary needs and restrictions are met.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for residents and patients.
- Document patient care activities and observations accurately in electronic medical records.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required for entry-level applicants.
- Must possess a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or be willing to obtain one.
- Compassionate, patient, and eager to learn new skills.
- Physical ability to lift, move, and support patients (up to 50 lbs) as needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and families.
