Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, transfers, and ambulation safely.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medical charts.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and family members regarding patient status.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and sanitized environment for all patients.
- Respond promptly to patient requests and emergencies.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing (required).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is strongly preferred.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hospital, assisted living, or home health setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient-centered attitude with a focus on quality care.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks as needed.
