Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate care to patients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Communicate changes in patient conditions to the nursing staff and physicians in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary environment in patient rooms and common areas.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nursing personnel.
- Document patient care activities and intake/output in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current and valid State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license and registration.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (ACLS preferred).
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or home health setting is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
