Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and ambulation assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) to ensure patient comfort and dignity.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and family members regarding patient status.
- Document patient care plans, changes in condition, and daily activities accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Valid and current North Carolina CNA License required.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or ACLS preferred.
- Previous experience in long-term care, home health, or hospital settings is highly desired.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
- Reliable transportation to and from work locations.
