Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense medications and verify prescriptions for 150+ daily transactions
- Manage inventory control and ordering for controlled substances
- Provide medication counseling to patients under pharmacist supervision
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and documentation
- Train junior technicians on compounding and sterile preparation protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare providers for medication therapy management
Qualifications
- Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB/ExCPT)
- Minimum 3 years retail/hospital pharmacy experience
- Proficiency in pharmacy software (QS1/Micros preferred)
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
