Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Transport patients to and from medical appointments and therapy sessions.
- Report any changes in a patient's condition or behavior to the nursing staff immediately.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all patients.
- Follow all healthcare safety protocols and infection control measures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Willingness to obtain or maintain a valid CNA certification (training support provided).
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be physically able to lift and assist patients of varying sizes.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
