Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Prepare nutritious meals and monitor dietary needs
- Administer prescribed medications under supervision
- Perform light housekeeping and client-specific errands
- Document care activities and client progress accurately
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
Qualifications
- Active Virginia Home Health Aide certification required
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Passionate about senior care with strong empathy
