Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Prepare and serve meals according to specific dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients at all times.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and safety protocols.
- Document patient care activities and updates accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – We value attitude and willingness to learn over history.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Current state CNA certification is preferred but not mandatory for qualified candidates.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (optional).
- CPR certification is a plus but not required.
