Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient health status to the Registered Nurse immediately.
- Assist patients with mobility issues using wheelchairs, walkers, or stretchers safely.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment in accordance with facility protocols.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required in the state of Texas.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Previous experience in long-term care or assisted living is preferred but not required.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
