Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record patient vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates accurately.
- Communication: Report changes in patient condition, symptoms, or behavior to the nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Assistance: Help patients with mobility, including transferring them to and from beds, wheelchairs, or walkers safely.
- Hygiene: Ensure patient rooms and common areas are clean, sanitized, and organized to maintain a safe environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and charts as required by facility protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience: No prior CNA experience required. We are willing to train the right candidates!
- License: Active CNA certification or enrollment in a state-approved CNA training program.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and the ability to learn medical software quickly.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and walk frequently.
- Personal Qualities: Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented with strong interpersonal communication skills.
