Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families during their stay.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized environment in patient rooms and common areas.
- Communicate any changes in a patient's physical or mental condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with mobility and safely transfer patients using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Prepare meals according to dietary restrictions and assist patients during meal times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- No experience required – We value attitude and willingness to learn over prior history.
- Candidates must demonstrate compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy is preferred but not mandatory.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus, but we can assist with training.
