Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Report any changes in a patient's physical or emotional condition to the charge nurse immediately.
- Assist with ambulation and range-of-motion exercises as prescribed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and visitors.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Current and valid California CNA License (CNA I or CNA II).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and transfer patients safely.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
