Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately and timely.
- Assist registered nurses and licensed practical nurses with procedures and patient transfers.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and inquiries with a compassionate and professional demeanor.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment to prevent infections and accidents.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition in the electronic health record system.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Georgia required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and families.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift, and assist patients as needed.
- Compassionate, patient-centered attitude with a desire to help others.
