Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transferring them from beds to wheelchairs safely.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately in electronic health records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing staff and patients' families.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license (or willingness to obtain state certification).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- CPR and BLS certification preferred.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
