Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs by conducting physical exams, reviewing medical histories, and administering treatments.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Document all patient care activities, observations, and interventions accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
