Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist nurses and medical staff with patient transfers, mobility, and ambulation.
- Document patient care activities, changes in patient conditions, and medications administered accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and requests while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Georgia CNA Certification required.
- Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients up to 50 lbs safely.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
