Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and specimen collection.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to nursing staff immediately.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families.
Qualifications
- Current Florida CNA certification and state licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
