Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, reporting any abnormalities to the nursing staff immediately.
- Mobility Support: Safely assist patients with ambulation, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls and ensure comfort.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between patients and the healthcare team, documenting patient feedback and concerns accurately.
- Hygiene: Change linens, maintain personal hygiene, and ensure the patient's room remains clean and organized.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations following established protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification: Current CNA Certification (or eligibility to obtain certification through our training program).
- Experience: Previous experience preferred, but we welcome enthusiastic candidates with no experience who are willing to learn.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move patients up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and walk frequently.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
- Remote Readiness: Basic computer literacy for documentation and remote administrative tasks.
