Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming, with dignity and respect.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Safety Support: Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls and ensure patient safety.
- Communication: Communicate patient status changes and concerns to the Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse immediately.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and medical charts as required by facility protocols.
- Environment: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary patient environment.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current and active North Carolina CNA Certification (CNA-1) required.
- Licensure: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility (SNF), or home health setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
