Responsibilities
- Assist Patients: Provide essential daily living assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record patient vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse accurately.
- Hygiene Support: Ensure patients maintain proper hygiene and nutrition, including meal preparation and assistance with eating.
- Medication Reminders: Prompt patients to take prescribed medications and report any side effects to the nursing staff immediately.
- Mobility Assistance: Help patients move safely between beds, wheelchairs, and walking areas to prevent falls.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with facility protocols.
- Emotional Support: Build rapport with patients and their families, providing comfort and a friendly presence.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We welcome applicants with little to no prior experience who are eager to learn.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- CNA Certification: Current Certified Nursing Assistant license or completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Compassion: Genuine passion for helping elderly and disabled patients.
- Reliability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
