Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rate.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and safety equipment.
- Serve meals and assist residents with feeding as needed to ensure proper nutrition.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for all residents.
- Document patient care activities, changes in condition, and any incidents accurately.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the nursing staff team.
Qualifications
- Current, valid CNA Certification and State Licensure.
- Previous experience in a long-term care, assisted living, or hospital setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated attitude towards patient care.
