Job Summary:
As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients in their homes or residential facilities. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor patient health, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse accurately.
- Move and transfer patients safely using proper body mechanics and transfer equipment.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients to enhance their quality of life.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding according to dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary living environment for all residents.
- Communicate changes in patient condition or needs to the nursing supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Current CNA certification or willingness to obtain certification (we provide training).
- Must be compassionate, patient, and have a genuine desire to help others.
- Strong physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
