Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate care to patients, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper lifting techniques and assistive devices.
- Prepare and serve meals according to prescribed dietary plans and patient preferences.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities, medications administered, and changes in condition.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and family members to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing with the State of Ohio.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or CPR certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients weighing up to 250 lbs as needed.
- Reliable transportation to and from the healthcare facility.
- Compassionate demeanor with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
