Responsibilities
- Patient Assistance: Provide direct care to patients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Vital Monitoring: Accurately monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, and temperature.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient care plans, symptoms, and daily progress.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with the nursing staff, physicians, and patients/families to ensure holistic care.
- Hygiene & Safety: Ensure patient rooms and common areas are clean, safe, and sanitary at all times.
- Emotional Support: Offer companionship and emotional support to patients to enhance their quality of life.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and valid CNA license in the state of Oklahoma.
- Certification: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work well in a team environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Attitude: Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented approach to patient care.
