Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, reporting any abnormalities to the nursing staff.
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and prevent falls.
- Administer medications as directed and document all care provided in patient medical records accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure holistic care.
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide emotional support to patients and their families during their stay.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA license in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow medical protocols strictly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
