Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises as needed.
- Communicate patient changes and concerns to the nursing staff promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Current and active Florida CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care, hospital, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients as required.
