Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and safety equipment.
- Administer medication and document patient responses accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents/patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the nursing staff.
- Respond to patient calls and emergencies promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Nevada.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting preferred.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
