Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and document vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, accurately.
- Provide assistance with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure resident safety.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to facility protocols.
- Communicate changes in resident conditions to the Charge Nurse and physician promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to residents throughout the night.
Qualifications
- Current Florida CNA Certification (state issued) required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
