Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide compassionate patient care and emotional support to patients and their families during critical times.
- Prepare and administer medications as directed by Registered Nurses and physicians.
- Document patient care activities, including changes in patient condition and medication administration.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment to prevent infection.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Current Nevada State CNA Certification (Licensure is mandatory).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
