Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vital signs monitoring, and medical history reviews during night hours.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with procedures.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians and following strict protocols.
- Collect and process laboratory specimens, including blood draws, accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) and documentation.
- Provide patient education and discharge instructions in a clear, empathetic manner.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Experience working in a clinical setting, preferably during evening or night shifts.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
