Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Monitor and document vital signs, fluid intake/output, and dietary needs
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Administer medications under RN supervision per facility protocols
- Maintain clean, sanitized environments and infection control standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for resident-centered plans
- Respond promptly to resident call bells and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months recent long-term care experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Clear TB test and health screening within last 12 months
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Fluent in English (Spanish bilingual preferred)
- Valid CA driver's license (if transporting residents)
