Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rates.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Prepare meals and assist patients with feeding as necessary.
- Report any changes in a patient’s condition or behavior to the nursing staff immediately.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all residents.
- Transport patients to and from activities or medical appointments using wheelchairs or stretchers.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Current CNA certification (or willingness to obtain certification within 3 months).
- Strong communication skills and a genuine compassion for patient care.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic charting.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
