Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming).
- Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Turn, reposition, and transfer patients safely to prevent bedsores.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and family members.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients (physical stamina required).
- Reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends.
- Willingness to obtain CNA certification if not currently held.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented attitude.
